Hm. What kind of risks are we talking about? I do enjoy them, but I'm also not about to commit to something stupidly either. I like to think the risks I take are more calculated.
Well, I do love a good challenge when it comes to exchanging blows. But I also admit that the people I normally met in the ring were just as average a human as myself.
[Well, Cryo Vision aside.]
So I think all out to you is vastly different to me.
Perhaps learning to hold back would be beneficial. It's always good to know when to pull punches.
[He does wonder what kind of life the other had lived for them to live a life with abilities that surpass the average human, yet never known how to temper those skills.]
I wouldn't be opposed if we're talking non lethal damage. If it's something that can be healed, then I'd consider it. It's not like I expect to leave a sparring match completely unscathed. I just also quite prefer not being crippled.
[ his indifference aside, there are strategic reasons he might not want to hit to kill. it might even open up some options, if he wanted to help someone train. ]
I heard the clinic can fix those things don't trust it?
[ as you should(n't)! just consider him curious. ]
It's good to keep a card or two up your sleeve, no?
[Wriothesley did love to present himself weaker than he really was. Surrounded by people who are definitely super powered though, the gap in strength would be far more worrisome. Thankfully, this is just a silly sex resort and not some space built on them fighting to survive.]
Do you trust it? Perhaps I just don't wish to also be put in a situation where I have to rely on others and their mercy. Even if they can be fixed, the fact of the matter is that being in such a situation doesn't sound ideal.
just in gambling I don't see the point in fighting.
[ in his original world, holding back hadn't been an option, and here... well, he'd trade obscurity for busting down the walls of this hotel any day, but it just doesn't seem to work out... ]
not any more than I'd trust a piece of pizza not to be tainted here.
then if you spar with me, aren't you counting on me to pull my punches I got a 1 in morals

so I haven't done any sparring
even if I hold back, there's no guarantee the other person wouldn't get damaged
[ because he's not really tried it, he doesn't know what it feels like to hold back sufficiently in the first place. ]
I don't really care if that happens, but it'd be annoying to get complaints about it.
